The professionalism and vast skills of our conservators and craftsmen, management and staff is the primary reason why clients choose Haymills Conservation.
With a combined experience working on some of the countries finest buildings and landscapes, our management team works closely with the client and design team to fully appreciate what the project really needs and then to deliver that agreed agenda.
Our in-house team of 50 loyal staff and craftsmen includes conservators, stonemasons, joiners, plasterers, bricklayers and an archeologist. The vast skills-set and practical long-term experience lends itself to providing consistent high quality finishing.
We are fully committed to training and developing our existing team, whilst also passing on the traditional skills through employing apprentices. Health and safety best practice is fully integrated into all of our conservation activities, whilst the company has also gained ISO14001 accreditation in recognition of our commitment to the environment.
Our contracts manager's responsibilities involve a wide range of management skills within the overall performance of the project, including working closely as a team and maintaining regular contact with our clients' and deisgn team to ensure we understand and implement the clients requirements to produce the optimum results.

Chris joined Haymills in 2003 to establish the conservation business unit having built up approaching 20-years conservation experience and in 2006 was promoted to director. Chris is primarily responsible for the development of the Conservation service provision in terms of strategy, management and continuous improvement.

MATTHEW WEBSTER IHBC - Architectural Treatments Manager
Matt has worked in the conservation field for over 20-years, developing a vast portfolio of on-site knowledge. This includes working with teams of historic building conservators, craftsmen, sub-contractors and other design and construction professionals.
